Catch the questions you already answer
Most “AI for customer service” is just writing down what you already say — then having it ready when you are on a ladder or in the chair.
The leak
A good lead went quiet because nobody answered in time.
They called at 12:10. You were with someone. They tried one more shop. This is not a personality problem. It is a gap between interest and a first human reply.

After-hours text you can keep
“Thanks for getting in touch — we are with customers right now. Tell us what you need and the best number. We will reply during [hours]. If it is urgent, [true backup].” No fake “we will be right there.”
The five questions
Do you serve my town? What do you charge / how do we start? Are you taking new customers? What should I bring? How do I change or cancel? If you can answer those in plain language, you have a working kit.
A review reply that stays decent
Thank them for the specific thing they named. If something went wrong, acknowledge it and offer a real next step off the public thread. Do not argue, and do not let a helper invent a discount.
